in which the press feeds off of fresh flesh.
Did you read the books before signing onto the movie.
no. just the script. that was bad enough.
Tell us about your audition.
i was depressed. been too drunk in london. a little scared and empty feeling. very low on cash. didn't want to do a teen movie. but catherine worked it. so i showed up. on my own airfare. depressed. kristen locked eyes, i was shocked. and that was it. the start.
tell us about the chemistry between you and kristen stewart.
well we really wanted to fuck each other but catherine only gave me the part if i promised not to break up her and that little kid she goes out with. and kristen is super competitive and frankly, pretty smart, doesn't want to loose the edge. and even if we did fuck it wouldn't last very long, so since we both understand that, frankly, the chemistry between is very very strained. in new moon, my favorite book, i am hardly in it... in fact, that is one of the reasons i love it... (the studio is also very happy every time i say new moon is my favorite, because they are concerned that new moon wont make money if edward is hardly in it.)
how could i not love any movie defined by my absence. this seems to be the most honest and truthful moment in the books, edward's rejection and absence from bella. it may be one of the arts of the entire saga, that absence is the ticket seller.

twi movie notes
a few notes, moments, scribbled in the dark, last viewing of twilight.
jacob to bella: 'we used to make mudpies together' was this from the book? or from fanfics? the books and the twifics have merged completely in my mind. in fact, the entire twilight experience is a phenomenon because of the need for fans to rewrite (brilliantly so) the material.
(will i ever stop dying over 'growing up cullen'?)
the owl in the chem lab. no problem for me, it's a reference to harry potter, no? others say it's edward's angel wings, it mostly struck me as an homage.
the catsup bottle: in the diner, immediately after encountering cullen, bella uses one of the catsup bottles....there is no visable squirt of red catsup coming out. ??? o.k., we are thinking, blood, vampire, but why does it look like there is no catsup in the bottle? and the catsup bottle comes back later too. don't get it.
oh god, that smile, fey and different ....when edward learns telepathically that bella does not want to go to prom with mike. (after the greenhouse). that smile Rob gives the vampire kills me. i enjoyed all of his telepathic moments in twilight. looks to carlisle, asides to students....i know he is just learning to act but it looks like rob is one of the few actors who works from the imagination. this kills me when an actor works this way. it's. the. best.
oh, yes, i do not think the greenhouse scene works, at all. why did the writer do that???? although eric with the worm is great. if anyone knows, please offer, why this greenhouse outing takes place. isn't it dangerous exposure for the cullens?
charlie giving bella the pepper spray.
nikki's thighs in those white baseball duds. sigh. and in the garage scene. her thighs alone should convince any one with eyes why she is the most gorgeous woman in the world.
bad vamp bare feet. victoria's foot print is huge...? did anyone else think 'frodo'?
kristen's acting in the scene where she leaves charlie. i could watch work like that all night long.
alice drawing the ballet studio. hilarious ...omg....and wonderful all at the same time, room for fanfic links there. the camera must have loved shooting that, c'mon, they must have died.
